Guest Guide

Self check-in is available from 15:00. Your room key will be waiting for you in a personalised envelope at reception, together with information for your stay.

You may arrive at any time after 15:00 — there is no latest check-in time.

Early check-in from 12:00 may be available for €20 per room, subject to availability. Please contact us in advance to check availability.

Before arrival, each guest is required to complete the online registration form. Registration details and self check-in instructions are sent automatically before arrival.

For the shortest route to Penzion Pibernik, turn left immediately after crossing the Sava River bridge.

You may see a “Local traffic only” sign and a €200 fine warning. These restrictions do not apply to guests staying at Penzion Pibernik, so you may continue along this road.

Housekeeping is available on request.

If you would like a housekeeping visit, please hang the “Please make up room” tag on your door handle by 13:00. If the sign is not displayed, we will assume you do not require housekeeping that day.

For fresh towels, simply leave the used towels on the bathroom floor.

Guest WiFi is free and available throughout the property. No password is required.

The secured network is reserved for staff use only.

Air conditioning

In some rooms, the A/C will only operate when all windows and balcony doors are fully closed. If the A/C does not start, please check these first.

Waste & recycling

To encourage proper waste separation and help prevent ants and other insects, we intentionally do not place waste bins in some rooms and bungalows.

Instead, dedicated waste and recycling stations are available around the property, as well as in the first- and second-floor corridors. Please use these to separate your waste.

Tap water

Tap water is safe and fresh to drink.

Our property uses different heating systems depending on the room. During the colder months, rooms are heated either by radiators or underfloor heating. In rooms with underfloor heating, radiators are not in use.

During transitional periods and exceptionally cool days during the season, heating is provided via the A/C. Select HEAT mode and set your preferred temperature.

Penzion Pibernik is a calm, adults-oriented retreat.

Quiet hours are between 22:00 and 08:00. Please avoid loud conversations, music, or gatherings during this time.

Parties and private gatherings are not permitted.

If you are leaving before reception opens, simply leave your room key on the reception table.

A late check-out until 11:00 may be available for €25 per room, subject to availability. Please contact us in advance to check availability.

Our boutique breakfast with a local Slovenian touch is served in the main dining area between 08:30 and 10:00.

If you sign up after 21:00, please also send us a short WhatsApp message with your room number, so we can make sure everything is prepared for you the following morning.

You will find coffee and snacks in the bar area, with a selection of wines opposite the bar.

Cold drinks are available in the large fridge outside, just past the bar.

Please help yourself and write down what you take. Any extras can be settled at check-out.

Free parking is available on the property for our guests.

Please park considerately within the designated spaces, so there is enough parking available for all guests.

EV charging spaces are reserved for active charging only. If your vehicle is not being charged, please move it to a regular parking space.

EV charging is available for €0.35/kWh.

If you plan to charge your vehicle during your stay, please let us know in advance before arrival, as a charging card needs to be provided by us.

For guests travelling with their own bicycles, a covered bicycle parking area is available in front of the main house.

Please leave bicycles in the designated area and do not bring them into guest rooms or accommodation units.

You’re welcome to arrive earlier and leave your luggage before check-in.

As we do not have a dedicated luggage room, luggage can be left in the reception area under the staircase.

Please note that this area is not actively supervised throughout the day, so we recommend keeping valuables with you.

Please note that we do not offer on-site laundry or drying facilities.

Self-service laundromats with washing and drying facilities are available in Bled.

The experience is designed for 2 adults (18+) and includes 2 complimentary welcome drinks from our honesty bar. Private groups of up to 4 adults may be accommodated upon request.

Our pool uses a chemical-free natural water system. To help preserve its natural balance and water quality, availability is intentionally limited.

For current availability, time slots and prices, please contact us via WhatsApp.

As an outdoor natural experience, reservations may occasionally need to be postponed or cancelled due to severe weather or maintenance requirements.

Lake Bled is approximately a 35-minute walk from Penzion Pibernik.

You can turn right through Koritno village or turn left and follow the main road. Both routes lead into Bled.

Public transport is not available directly from the property, so for getting around without a car we recommend walking, renting an e-bike, taxi or Uber.

For a trusted local taxi service, we recommend Taxi Brane:

Uber is also available in the Bled area and can be booked directly through the Uber app.

For additional local taxi services, you can find more options on the official Bled tourism website.
